ORWB Announces Fully-Funded Washington, D.C. Trip for 22 Veterans or Active Service Members

ORWB, the charitable foundation of First Service Bank, is proud to announce a fully-funded trip to Washington, D.C., for 22 deserving qualified Veterans and Active Service Members on September 25-30, 2025. This incredible opportunity recognizes their service and sacrifice with an enriching and educational experience in the heart of our nation’s capital.

Participants will explore the U.S. Capitol, reflect at Arlington National Cemetery, visit iconic war memorials, and enjoy time at the renowned Smithsonian museums. Nominations and self-applications will be accepted until January 31. After a careful review, the ORWB Board of Directors will select 22 recipients, which will be announced in February.

“This initiative embodies our commitment to recognizing and appreciating the individuals who have dedicated themselves to defending our freedoms,” said Rebecca Barnard, Chairman of the ORWB Board. “As the foundation of First Service Bank, ORWB is honored to provide this experience, giving back to those who have given so much.”
