First Service Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Courtney Hale to Assistant Compliance Officer, recognizing her dedication and 8.5 years of exemplary service. In her new role, Courtney will collaborate with the Compliance Officer to manage the bank’s Compliance and Audit program and oversee Vendor Management and Internal Audits to ensure the ongoing protection and integrity of the organization.
Courtney brings a wealth of experience to this role, including 15 years in the banking industry. She joined First Service Bank in 2016 and has held multiple key positions, including Lead Universal Banker, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, and Loan Officer at the Conway Market. In her previous role as Compliance and Internal Controls Specialist, she worked under the direction of the Compliance Officer to identify and mitigate risk for the bank.
Born in Texarkana, Texas, Courtney now calls Conway, Arkansas, home, where she resides with her husband Josh and their children Coralynn, Crosby, and Kace. A graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing, Courtney values her connection with her coworkers and appreciates being part of an organization that gives back so generously to the community.
Reflecting on her time at First Service Bank, Courtney shared, “The collaboration with my coworkers and the opportunity to work for an organization that positively impacts our communities is what I love most. In my new role, I am excited to take a more active part in projects and initiatives within the Compliance program and serve as a resource for employees and vendors so they can better serve our customers and mission.”
