Looking forward to “Aloha” state

It won’t be long before the First Service Bank Travel Club says “aloha” to Hawaii and its many wonderful sights and sounds.

Club director Ina Standridge is looking forward to her second visit to the state and sharing the experience with club members. “It’s absolutely beautiful,” she said. “I’m really excited about going back to Hawaii.”

The 10-day trip in October features three-night stays on three of the Hawaiian Islands - Oahu, Big Island (Kona) and Maui.

Ina said she is particularly interested in experiencing the “Road to Hana” excursion on Maui as well as the sights in Honolulu. “Pearl Harbor is amazing. Talk about humbling,” she said. “That is something you will never forget.”

The trip has generated a lot of interest among club members, with the first 20 slots sold in just two days. Trip organizers added 16 spots on the trip, with only a handful still available.
