Last year was brimming with excitement as our club members embarked on unforgettable journeys. And in 2024, we're gearing up for even more fun! From Hawaii's sunny shores to the bustling streets of New York City, our itinerary is packed with possibilities.
Originally from Glenwood but now proudly rooted in Faulkner County, Ina has been leading our Travel Club since 2018. "I've always loved meeting new people, and this role feels like a natural fit," she shares with a warm smile.
Reflecting on last year's travels, Ina fondly recalls the awe-inspiring sights of Washington, D.C., and the toe-tapping tunes of Nashville's Grand Ole Opry. But it was our journey to the Canadian Rockies that truly stole her heart. "It was like stepping into a painting," she muses.
Looking ahead to 2024, Ina's eyes light up with excitement. "We've got some fantastic trips planned, like the NYC Girls Trip and Hawaii," she shares. And with over 35 travelers signed up for our Hawaiian adventure, it's shaping up to be our best one yet!
Closer to home, Ina hopes to revisit Mackinac Island and Niagara Falls, destinations that were postponed due to the pandemic. "Here's hoping for next year," she says optimistically.
Yet, amidst dreams of far-off lands, Ina still longs for the timeless charm of Italy, the historical streets of London, and the tranquil beauty of Switzerland.
As a self-proclaimed "travel bug," Ina believes that life's greatest adventures are worth pursuing, even in uncertain times. "There's so much to see and experience," she says. "We shouldn't let anything hold us back."
