First Service spotlights Kim Brown

First Service spotlights Kim Brown

When an opportunity to work at First Service Bank arose, Kim Brown “jumped on it.”  “It’s the best decision I have ever made.”

A universal banker at the First Service location in Dermott, Kim has worked for FSB for a little more than three years. “As a universal banker, I make deposits, cash checks, open accounts, compile daily reports, and balance the ATM and vault,” Kim said. “I have always wanted to work in finance and when the opportunity came along, I took it.”

Kim is proud that First Service Bank associates are committed to providing outstanding service and assistance to its customers. “Our customer service is the best,” she said. “Our customers are very important to us. We will go above and beyond to help them with their banking needs.  This is why we were named one of the best places to work in Arkansas for three years straight.

A native of Tunica, MS., Kim and her husband, Joe, live in Lake Village. They have three children - Rick, Ashley and Amanda – and four grandchildren – Brentley Cole, Mason and Aiden.

Kim is a graduate of Indianola Academy in Mississippi and attended Mississippi Delta Community College. When not helping customers at the bank, Kim likes to spend her time focused on her grandchildren. “I’m all about anything that involves my grandchildren, whether it is a ball game or a program at school or at church,” she said.

At First Service Bank, Kim said she enjoys most her interaction with other associates. “The people I work with are awesome,” she said. “It’s like having an extended family.”
