First Service Bank promotes Housley

First Service Bank has named Rose Housley as branch manager and loan officer for its Mountain View location.

Rose has previously served as a universal banker and as an assistant branch manager, overseeing banking services to ensure excellent service.

As branch manager, she will oversee operations within the branch, including but not limited to staffing, customer service and relationship management. As a loan officer, she will review, authorize and recommend loans for approval.

“I am very excited that my new position will offer the opportunity to not only grow personally but to serve the Stone County community,” said Rose. “I look forward to being out and about in the community and working to bring in new business and leads. I am also excited to witness and serve as the Mountain View staff learns and grows each day.”

It’s the camaraderie among First Service associates that Rose enjoys most about her work. “What I love most about working at FSB is the people. Not just the people in my department - but all of the departments.”

Rose has eight years of experience in the banking industry, with the last two at First Service Bank. “Everyone really just works as a team at First Service Bank and I couldn’t be more thankful,” she said. “I am very grateful to be a part of such a huge team that treats each other with respect and pushes each other to take on new challenges and opportunities.  I feel valued each and every day.”

Born in Harrison, Rose lives in Marshall with her husband, Jack, and their daughter, Lily, with another baby girl on the way. She is working toward a business degree, which she expects to complete in 2023.

Rose said she has a special appreciation for First Service Bank and how it gives back. “I believe that small town banks such as FSB are instrumental in creating long-term positive changes for the small communities they serve,” said Rose. “FSB truly cares about each and every community they are a part of.

“Being from a small town myself with a graduating class of less than 10, I personally understand how volunteering, involvement and sponsorships from donators and businesses can really have such a huge impact.”

First Service Bank, with its headquarters in Faulkner County, has been in operation for more than 60 years and has locations in Clinton, Conway, Dermott, Flippin, Greenbrier, Little Rock, Mountain View, Shirley, and Yellville. For more information, visit firstservicebank.com.
